MEET KENTON.

My Story . . .

Ever since I was two years old “racing” my trucks around the bathtub, racing is all I ever wanted to do. It’s not an easy path, but it’s hard not to be grateful when I get to drive lots of cool race cars!

I started karting at eight-years-old and honestly never thought this could be my career. However, once I transitioned into cars, that quickly began to change. That year, I won a half-scholarship to compete the following season in Skip Barber, and that launched me on my path up the Mazda Road to the 24 ladder.

A combination of skill, luck, and staying focused on the big picture allowed me to win 4 consecutive championships (and approx. $500,000 in scholarships) to move up through MX-5 Cup, IMSA Prototype Lites, to then win the 2016 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona in LMPC.

Since then, I’ve focused on growing my network, providing the best I can as a coach and driver, and have been fortunate to receive some really awesome opportunities!

WORDS TO LIVE BY

When Not Driving . . .

You can most often find me doing something that makes me better at driving race cars (sim racing, karting, fitness and mental training).

I recently took up flying and earned my private pilot’s license – something I plan to put to use to travel to and from events and see the world from a new perspective. My wife and I love to enjoy the outdoors, going mountain biking, paddle boarding, snowboarding/skiing anytime we get the chance! I also love to tinker and am always seeking out new projects, whether it’s doing an engine swap on my BMW wagon, working on our karts, helping friends fix their cars, or finding a project to do around the house.

The amount of travel required for racing made it challenging, but I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business from California State University, Fullerton in 2019.
